Hee Haw Farms 2013

This may become a new fall tradition. We have only done it for the last two years, but the boys do seem to love it and it is something that they always look forward to. In PG, there is a nice little farm called Hee Haw farms. They have taken the simplicity of farm life and turned them into the funnest activities for kids. I do believe the big slide is one of the favorites of my boys at least. They must have gone down this slide 15 times.

I love this first picture. At first, Ethan was having a hard time making up the hill, so Eli would grab his hand and help him to get up the hill. Ethan did eventually figure it out, but he was just having a hard time at first.

They have many littler slides that Ethan was super confident in going down all of these ones on his own. He was so funny as he was bumping down the slides.

Baby Gavin and Heather, and Grandma and Grandpa Hatch came with us this year. It was fun having them along. Look at how cute this kiddo is.

Eli loves his Grandma Gaye soooooo much. Im pretty sure he would spend every day, all day with her... at least until about 8 in the evening or so. He does get pretty clingy to his mom when he gets tired. Even for his Grandma, evening time is just a really hard time for this kiddo.

Love this cute kid.

Love this cute kid to. He thought he had found the most perfect pumpkin, of course until he turned a corner and found and even more perfect one that is. LOL

Ethan was WWWWAAAAAYYYY more fascinated with finding the really cute small ones that were shaped so funny. He had made quite the collection of them by the end of our adventure.

Love my cute boys. They are so funny with each other. And they are the best of friends.

Corn Husk cannons. They were having a competition to see who could hit the most targets.

Lets play with the pigs. Lets chase them and see if we can earn some bonus points for games. Eli was a bit fascinated with them and was enjoying all the attention he was getting from the little ones because they wanted his food so bad.

Matt was to old to do the pig chase and Ethan wasnt quite fast enough to catch one, so Matt caught one afterwards to let Ethan have a turn. LOL   They really are kind of cute little critters if you can get past how messy they are.

Gavins first time holding a little piglet. He was actually pretty soft with it. More out of shock or fear... not quite sure, but he was pretty fascinated.

Do it for the dollar... LOL Eli was riding a baby goat. Okay maybe riding isnt the best word to describe this. It think the size of this goat it would have been more accurate to have the goat ride Eli.

Hold on tight Gavin.

Ethan needed in on the riding action as well. Im sure this little goat was pretty much sick of us at this point.

All Smilies!!!

Eli jumping into the hay piles. He just  kept getting braver and crazier with his tricks.

Ethan getting in on the jumping action but from the lower hay bail. I think Eli was trying to grab his hand but I dont know how well that worked out.

Grandma and Grandpa Hatch go with us pretty much every year to Hee Haw. The boys always love having them there. It was fun having Gavin and Heather along this year as well. We sure are lucky to have such an awesome family.

Such a cute little kiddo.

My handsome Eli. I can not believe how big he is getting. Every day, things just happen to remind me just how big he really is getting. Slow down time and let him just stay little please.

And then there is my curious, adventursome, happy go lucky Ethan. I dont know what I would do without him. This kid can bring a smile to anyones face.

Such a serious look on Gavins face.... like kid, what you talking about.

More of the big slide.

And the big Corn sand box is always a favorite of the boys. They were making corn angels and pouring it down their shirts and well pretty much anything else  you could do with a ton of corn kernals, they were doing it.
