Test

This is a test. Thinking of going private and just turning the blog into a family Journal. Leave me a message if you read this and would like to continue seeing updates. Thanks. Your all awesome... even though I'm pretty sure you are few in number.

Happy Fathers Day

We had the most amazingly fun fathers day weekend. I'm not Matt, but I'm pretty sure that it is safe to say that he had one of the funnest fathers day weekends ever. Just spending lots of family time. We have been to the zoo lots of times this season, but Matt has not actually had the opportunity to make it there since they have opened up the new Rocky Shores exhibit. So this is how we started our day out. The boys never really get sick of the zoo. At least they haven't yet. They are just at the fun age that animals are such a fascination to them.

Big Guy is so fascinating to me. I think that I could just sit and watch him for a long time. He is so fascinating to me. He occasionally bumps into the rock and you can see him adjust himself just barely so that he no longer hits the rock but is still continuing in his pattern. Love Watching him.

Have you ever been to the Sidewalk Chalk Art Festival? Well I am here to tell you right now, if you haven't, make it a must next year. This was the coolest thing ever, and it was free. Who ever knew you could make such amazing pictures with chalk. SERIOUSLY.... they were amazing. The theme this year was Super Heros so that made it even better for the boys. There were many that had just done pictures of super heros so of course the boys were eating that up.

And of course they had some super hero characters along the sidewalk path. And a perfect picture opt here with BATMAN

Eli got this really cool super hero cape at one of the booths and this was only the beginning of the cool super hero outfit that he created by the end of the day. More on that later.

And Ethans super hero mask.

I did tell you there would be more to come. So he got the cape at one place, the mask at another, and then his super reading medal at another. And the whole patriotic swimsuit just tops the whole outfit off. He was having way to much fun. Ethan slept in the stroller a lot of the time. The zoo had worn him out.

Chalk people...... only Chalk.... I was amazed.

This was my favorite. I mean I know that it has nothing to do with super heros really, but the detail was insane. And I really do have a thing for animals. They fascinate me.

Matt just thought this one was weird but cool looking.

This was one of the boys favorites.

Pretty creative... dont you think?

This was Matt's absolute favorite. Not gonna lie... it was pretty amazing. Very large and detailed. It was like lots of little pictures all combined together to make one amazingly large one.

Eli's favorite.

Ethan couldn't take his eyes off them ever long enough to get a picture of him.

After the street art festival, we went out to the Kearns Olympic swimming pool to take the boys swimming. This is definitely one of our families favorite past times. The boys are fish, and Matt loves playing in water.

And of course we had to end out day, back at Grandma's house, doing a little chalk art of our own. Eli was so fun, he was trying to brush his fingers that way that he saw them doing. He was really funny as he was trying to create a really intricate picture.
