Disney on Ice.... Loved It!!!

A great big shout out THANK YOU to Matt's amazingly great friend John for giving us the tickets to Disney on Ice. Once again, it was a perfect family outing and Eli absolutely loved it. John had a few extra tickets so we were able to invite Matt's sister Heather and her boyfriend Randall and his son Korbin. I do believe that they had a really good time as well. Here are just a few pictures so show just how much fun we had.

This is a picture of Lara at the Princess Preview, before the show even started. Lara was so excited to be this close to Princess Tiana from the Princess and the Frog. Lara loves this kind of stuff.

I really did try numerous times to get the three of them to look at me, but as you can plainly see, they were way to intrigued with the show to give me any attention. But I still got a few cute pictures from the night.

This is Eli and Korbin. They were so fascinated with the show. Both of them are starting to get a little tired in this picture as you can see, but they were so funny sharing the popcorn and just chillin with each other.

These two, as well as the two in the next picture are so cute together. I love this group so dang much. Eli loves his daddy, and he loves his Lara soooooooooo much.

Aren't we so cute together.

Aunt Heather got Eli this really cute Matter hat as a souvenir. As you can see, he is definitely smiling at me, he just wouldn't turn his head long enough to give me the time of day. What a cheezer?

Just one more shot of Eli totally loving this show.

Thanks again John and Bree. Thanks for thinking of us. It was super fun and we really enjoyed ourselves.

Eli's Great Grandma's Birthday Party

A week or so ago we went out to Bountiful to Great Grandma Lueen's birthday party. She is Matt's Grandma, Eli's Great Grandma. But what is so cool about this picture is that the sweet little lady sitting next to Eli is actually Lueen's mom. So that is Eli's Great, Great grandma. How cool is that? You have Eli, Matt, Randy, Randy's Mom (Lueen), and then Lueen's Mom (Great Grandma Newman). How sad is that this is the only name I know her by? I do believe I need to learn this sweet ladies name. Everyone always just calls her Grandma Newman. There is nothing really spectacular about the second picture. I just thought that it was absolutely hilarious how intrigued all three of them were over watching Eli play a game that his dad had download to his Ipod touch for Eli. It is a toddler game and Eli loves it. He actually found a few that are perfect for Eli's age and they actually teach some pretty cool things too. So to end this post, I just want to say Happy Birthday to Grandma Lueen. Hope to celebrate many more with you. Remember always how much we love you!

Eli's First Time Bowling

Eli was so funny the other day. We were bored and was trying to thinking of something to do. Lately Lara has really been wanting to go bowling, but we just keep putting it off because Eli, well, he is a little young. But we caved and decided to go anyway. He absolutely loved it. At first he wasn't quite sure what to do and he was actually a little afraid of getting the ball of the dispenser thing, but after a couple rounds of me helping me, he was ready to take on the lane all by himself. I would push the ramp over for him and he would go get his ball and carry it over, Yes, his 6 lb ball all by himself. Lift it to the top of the ramp and tell me to watch out so he could do it all by himself. He was so funny. He had a really hard time patiently waiting for Lara and dad to have their turns so he could go again. But he did pretty dang good for only being two.

Happy Birthday Grandma!!! Love Eli

I just wanted to do a post dedicated to one of the most amazing women that I have ever met. She has to be one of the greatest moms, grandmas, and mother in laws that ever existed. Her name is Gaye May Hatch and she is my mother-in-law and by far one of Eli's most favorite people in the world. He was so excited to be able to call and tell her Happy Birthday today. He always looks forward to the days that he gets to see her or even spend just a few minutes with her. When I tell him about a time that she is coming to see him, all week long, "Grandma come play today" over and over, each and every day until the actual day that she gets to come. Gaye, I just wanted to send you down memory lane a little bit. Remember how small he was. You and him have had a pretty special bond even from day one. Thank you for always being there for us and being such an amazing grandma to Eli. You will never know how much it means to me and well, the pictures speak for themselves on how much you mean to Eli. And THANK YOU for being Matt's mom. You have helped him through so many things in his life and I see the relationship that you two still have, and it just confirms to me again how amazing of a women you are. Please always remember how much we all love you and Hope that you had a great birthday.

I know it isn't a very flattering picture, but I really do LOVE this picture. You two are so cute together.

Happy 4 Year Anniversary!!!!

I love you so much Matt! Thank you for always being there for me. You are an amazing man and the best daddy in the world. I just wanted to send you down memory lane for a minute, because in the process of working on your Valentine / Anniversary present, I have had plenty of fun taking this trip.

There is nothing really significant about the particular pictures that I picked, but be warned, this is only a small handful of the ones to come. It has been so much fun going back to trips we have been on, adventures we have had together, and ooooooo all the many fun times we have had. Hope you have enjoyed this little trip. Always remember how much I love you and am looking forward to spending an eternity with you. I love you Batman!

LOVE,
