BYU Homecoming Game

We were lucky enough to score some tickets to the BYU blackout homecoming game. It was a very fun outing and the boys loved it.

Halloween 2012

Pre Halloween Fun

The weekend before Halloween it has become a tradition to go out to Grandmas house and carve pumpkins, eat good soups and spend some fun time with the family. This year was no exception, although this year, because there was no snow on the ground and the weather was just fantastic. We played a bunch in the leaves and was even able to snag a few cute pictures.

Then on to the carving. What a mess, but Eli was almost able to do it entirely by himself this year.

Then you have nut job over here who was just having way to much fun with the power cutter.... dont worry he was under VERY close supervision.

We were able to get a few grandkid pictures of all the ones that were there. Just missing a few. We almost had all of them.

Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for such a fun pre Halloween party. We always do have so much fun when we come out there.

Hee Haw Farms

I dont think we had ever taken either of the boys to a pumpkin patch before, but this just may be come a new family tradition. The boys had so much fun. And so did Lara as you will see from the pictures. We went to Hee Haw farms and enjoyed the festivities. Yes, I know I am only a few weeks late on documenting this but better late then never. The boys loved the great big slide. Ethan was a little to small to go down in by himself, okay really he probably wasn't to small, but rather made the choice not to, so he had a little assistance from some family members.

We sure do love Grandma and Grandpa Hatch. They are always willing to be silly with us and the boys love ever second they get to spend with them.

Tractors that were Ethans size. Pretty sure he could have played on this all night. Although two things, first it is red so Grandpa Anderson would disapprove and two, the people of the pumpkin patch thought it would be great idea to remove the front wheel so he really wasn't able to go anywhere. But still smiling.

The petting farm was a favorite of everybody and I'm pretty sure the piglets had it in the bag, the boys tried and tried to feed the animals but they had be fed so much throughout the day that I don't think they were feeling it to much. But we did find a few animals that were still in a snacking mood.

Okay, seriously, this is going to be my next sand box, although more properly named a cornbox. The boys could have played in here forever. A huge box of kernels of corn. Who would have thought that you could have so much fun with corn. It feels really cool on your feet.

This is Ethan's face of frustration. He wanted to get the husk off so bad and he was soooo frustrated with it, but some of the faces he was pulling was priceless.

Going on our hay ride. Grandma and Eli.

Heather and Ethan

I wish his younger brother was so willing to pose for a picture for me. But not so much.

This next picture is classic and i have to explain why. So they did a pig chase where they had three squilling little piggies in a circle corral and then by different age groups they would let kids chase them around and the first three to pick them up would get a prize. Well needless to say, Ethan was not quite quick enough to keep up with the 4 year olds. He pretty much LOST it. I do have  it all on video but for some reason, blogger wont ever let me upload my videos, I think the files are to big. Well anyway, over in the petter farm there was little piggies as well, so I just asked Eli to race him but to let him when, and because Eli is just an awesome brother like that. Ethan was able to catch his stinkin piggie and get a cute SMILING picture out of him.

The whole family.

Why go down the slide normally, being crazy is sooo much more fun.

Lara being a good aunt and taking Ethan down the big slide.
