Anderson-Nielsen Family Reunion

So I have come to the conclusion that my posts are 90 percent pictures and 10 percent writing, but as I have said before, that is kind of who I am. I love pictures and I love scrap booking. So I apologize to all those readers out there who enjoy reading a good story, I just usually don't have one, but I always have some fun pictures. I use my blog to help me organize my scrapbook. When I finally get around to working on the scrapbook pages from a certain event, I just pull up the blog post to get the information from that particular event. So once again, there are lots of pictures in this post.

My family and I just got back from the Anderson-Nielsen family reunion. We went to a place called Solider Creek that is up by Strawberry Reservoir a little north of Heber. We spent our days visiting, doing crafts, fishing, and lots of boating. All in all, the vacation turned out great and I feel that our family had lots of fun.

Savannah, Nicole and Zac on the tube. Zac was so brave. He didn't want to do it, but once he got going he had a blast.

Eli loving every minute of his time on the boat. He loved watching the waves and the kids on the tube.

Elise fishing for craw dads

In case you haven't got the picture. The kids loved fishing for craw dads. They looked like little mini lobsters and they were everywhere, literally. I bet over the whole weekend, we probably caught over 150 of them. We did release quite few of them, but the second night we fried some up and ate them. Ridiculous I tell you. You work forever to get the meat out, (which really wasn't that good in my opinion), but you work forever to get a piece of meat that is about an inch by inch of meat. It is so stupid, but like I said, the kids were having lots of fun.

Tucker showing of the visor that he decorated as well as being a goof ball, but it makes for a pretty funny picture

7-peaks here we come

Eli showing off his daddy's hat

We went to 7-peaks the other day for the Xango work party and Eli loved it. I didn't want to get the camera out during the day to much because there was way to many people there and it was splash central, I didn't want to risk getting the camera wet so I just took pictures later on in the day as people started leaving. He loved the water and he even enjoyed going down the great big slides with his mom and his dad.
I love this picture. Even though you can't see his face, it is still just a really cute picture

Eli munching on his french fries

Say cheese!! He was such a trooper and stayed happy and fun all day, even when he was hot and tired.

I really do love this boy.....

Okay, Okay, so I know that I post way to many pictures of this boy... but seriously, look at that face. And besides, pictures is what I do. I can never have to many cute pictures of him. He is just so cute. So anywho, we went on a little day outing to this place up kind of behind 7 peaks. It is called the Castle Rock Amphitheater, but if you ever need a place to take some really cool family pictures, I would highly recommend this place. It was beautiful.

Our 4th of July Weekend

We had so much fun in Delta over the 4th of July. For being a small town, Delta definitly knows how to do this holiday right. There is so much to do. But really, honestly, this year was the worst. I have never seen so many people in my life. Delta was so crowded, the park, and the derby were out of control in my opinion. But it was still very much fun. Warning you a head of time... LOTS of pictures. But what else is new, this is me we are talking about.

This is Eli holding his new cousin Thomas Casey Nielsen. Isn't he about the cutest thing ever. Eli was living it up with the babies. He thought he was about the greatest thing ever.

Just another cute shot of Eli looking at Thomas
I love this kid

I love this picture. We are out on the grass decorating our bikes and strollers to ride in the kiddy parade and Eli found the tractor to be way more interesting then helping us decorate his stroller. But that is okay, because he looked really cute.

Eli and Daddy

Eli snatching up his candy

I love his stance in this picture. He is waiting in aticipation for them to throw more candy. Last year he really enjoyed watching the parade, but this year he was old enough to get into it. He thought running out with the kids and with his daddy to get the candy was about the greatest thing ever.

This is Eli holding his other new cousin Brynlee.... isn't she about the cutest thing ever
All in all we had a great 4th of July. We pushed Eli in his stroller for the kiddy parade. We went to the parade and had loads of fun letting Eli run and get candy. We went to the city park and watched Dyer Highway.... AMAZING by the way. Then we had a really big barbaque at grandmas house and spent some high quality time with all the family. Then we went to the Derby. Eli loved it. Cars that crash... what little boy would'nt love that. But man was it super crowded. They should have stopped taking tickets about 3oo people before they did. It was out of control. But still fun. And then of course we ended the night watching some amazing Delta fireworks. I love how entrigued Eli was with the fireworks. I don't think he even blinked the entire show. He loved them.
Happy 4th of July to Everyone. I hope you all had a great holiday.
