Still Loving Soccer

Love you Lara

While Lara was up visiting for the Victoria Justice concert we decided to go do mini photo shoot of her. This is also one of the many simple things that Lara really enjoys doing. She loves being a model for me and I am happy to oblige. I love taking pictures and she always has all of the poses ready, so I just have to sit and snap a picture. I sure do love her.

Eli does Karate

We signed Eli up for a pre camp thing to introduce him to Karate and see if it is something that he likes. He did of course, but we will see if this is something that we peruse  He is just so young and I'm thinking this one might be a year or so away. But I can still share some cuteness of him in his Gee.

Victoria Justice in Concert

Lara and I have to get in our yearly teeny bopper concert. Our night out with just the two of us doing something that she loves. This time I took her to the Victoria Justice concert and it was way fun. She is actually really good live. Not that she is the worlds greatest singer, but she is okay and she is pretty much as good live as she is on CD and that is always one of my peeves is that you go see someone live and they sound completely different then they do on  CD.

We started out our night going to dinner at Arby's, her choice. Yeah I kind of thought she would go a little bigger on this one, but that is what she chose. The concert was at the State Fair, so we were able to go walk around and see all the different things that come with the Fair as well as getting to go to the concert, so it was a double win. She really wasn't supper interested in much of what was there, but there a couple of bead things and purse shops that she had fun looking at, and then we did go see a few of the animals.

This is Lara with her ticket in front of the stage. As you can see, she was all smiles and super excited.

Lara in front of Tori's tour bus

Not the greatest shot of the two of us, but honestly I think I took about 20 trying to get a semi decent one of us.

This was the most amazing sunset that we say during the concert and most of the time my camera will not catch the most amazing site that I see with my eyes and it is not always true to color, but this one was pretty dang close and it was beautiful. I was a little worried honestly because it was suppose to rain and it was quite gloomy and a we bit overcast but it was actually just a really nice night. Jacket weather of course but still a relatively nice night.

Just a few shots of Victorious doing her thing

Lara standing in front of the stage once they got it all lite up and again as you can see she was super excited and just waiting for Victorious to come out.

It was pretty cool because I don't know how I missed it when doing research for this concert, but Rob Schnidder, also a Disney Channel star from the movie RAGS, was the opener for Tori. So not only did Lara get to Tori, she got to see Rob as well. She was even more excited about that because she thinks he is so cute of course.

A Picture says a thousand words

All the times these two have there brotherly love moments, secretly I know they are best friends and more often then not I find this at night. Eli loves his little brother a lot and he really does look out for him and take really good care of him.

Fun Mini Photo Shoot

Bees Game

My boys have never been super fond of Mascots. Not even Cosmo and they love BYU, but as Eli has gotten older, he has mellowed out a little and he does seem to like them a little more then he use to. So of course now that Eli seems to be a little more okay with them, of course little brother, who absolutely idolizes older brother was much better with it as well. So although these are not the greatest of pictures, they are quite significant in our little world because they have hatted them for so long.

Another Trip to Battlecreek, but this time we took Daddy

We decided to do another hike up to Battle Creek Falls, but this time daddy was able to come. It was just as fun as the first time. The boys were troopers and we played for ever once we reached the top.

Such a small bug, but such a huge victory. The boys were both quite afraid of this super little fuzzy soft bug, and the problem was..... they were EVERYWHERE. It did take some time, and talking, and convincing  to help them see that they were nice and they were soft to the touch and they were completely okay to touch and then once I convinced them of that...they couldn't get enough of them. We had to keep one of our water bottles and I am pretty sure by the time we headed home we had close to thirty in that little bottle. Boys are so silly and my two are especially silly. But it was a fun adventure all the same.

Look at how dirty this little boys face was. And he was in seventh heaven and wouldn't have had it any other way. He was all smiles at the end of this little outing and was just as happy as could be.

Wedding in Torrey Utah

Matt was asked to DJ a wedding in Torrey Utah for a few of his really good high school friends. It was such a fun little break/weekend/ getaway. On our way there was this fun little petting school in the most random place. There is a little gas station off to the side of the road and this fun little place happens to be in the same parking lot. I gotta tell you, it was a very random little stop but the boys had so much fun petting all the animals.

I do believe he is one of the cutest cowboys I have ever met.
