So I am SOOOOOOO far behind on my blogging lately that this one will be more of a picture post, but to be honest with you, I actually need to come back and document fully about this most amazing experience But today is not the day. In July we had an exchange student come and live with us for two weeks named Wataru. He was from Takamatsu, Japan and he was awesome. It was the funnest experience ever and we could not have asked for a more perfect student.
Waiting for him to get off the bus
Playing legos with the boys
Playing Soccer at family night at the school
Humoring the boys at the playground. For being the youngest in his family and not ever really being around kids, he did awesome with the boys and they had so much fun having him here.
We took him and a few of his school friends to 7 peaks one day
They had an appreciation carwash at the school to tell host families thank you
We took him to antelope island one day because he wanted to see a buffalo and that was the only place we could think of to take him that was semi local
Eli at antelope island
Ethan learning how to spin/make yarn

We also took him to the park to meet up with some of his friends to play basketball. He invited one of the girls from the school and she had invited her host family sisters and some of their friends, They ended up all having a very good time playing basketball
The farewell program. They did such and awesome job giving us a little insight to Japan and the things that they learn and live over there.
A few of our favorites

He had never seen (except on the internet and in books) a horse and had also never been on one. This was something that he really wanted to do so we made it happen.
