I doubt I will ever see this again

I just had to share these most amazing pictures with everybody. My sister lives out in the middle of a farm basically and there is an overhanging cliff out by one of her fields, well to their great surprise they found a gigantic eagles nest up there. And look what just happens to be in it. Arn't they beautiful? We hiked up the hill and took a look. Standing 3 feet away from a huge Eagle Nest with these babies staring us up in the face. It was pretty amazing.

Family Vacation

This year my family vacation was in Vernal Utah. I know, Vernal, who vacations there... right? Well, we did, and we had so much fun. The first day we went river rafting but I have to steal those pictures from my brother. So I just have pictures from the rest of the trip.

Eli was so protective of Ethan. But when we were laying there trying to fall asleep he had to be right next to him and he was constantly making sure that he had his blanket on.

Did you know Vernal had a temple? I did not. It was so small, it kind of just looked like a slightly enlarged church. I honestly think that I heard somewhere that it once was a church.

Ethan loved his first experience camping. The weather was kind of hard to keep him out of because it was pretty windy so I would cover him with a blanket to get him out of the wind, but then he would get hot and sweaty. So it was a toss up on what to do, but we survived and had lots of fun. He loves being outside.

The second to last day we went to the dinosaur museum and it was really cool. Eli loves dinosaurs so he was all about seeing the different skeletons and statues. He has so many really good friends in his cousins as you can plainly see from the pictures. He is always in someones arms, although I am not totally sure why he is always being held.

Elise was trying to give this handsome boy a kiss... what do you think?

Elise and Eli..... best buddies.

A family picture in front of the T-rex.

A group shot of some of the family. Lara, Amy, Haley, Janis, Elise, Eli, Matt and Ethan.

Ethan was there and he even got out of the stroller every once in while.

Haley and Eli... also best buddies.

Love you Lara. You always look so cute

Haley, Elise, Eli, Janis, and Ashlee.... Say cheese.

Elise and Eli in the exploration room. They had tons of dinosaurs and books about dinosaurs. If we hadn't been following the crew,Im sure that Eli could have spent a few more hours in the particular place in the museum.

I love this group shot. Terri bent down and to hold Ethan in the picture. Its so cute. I love how Tucker is just chillin off to the side all by himself. He is such a cute little boy. I have so many cute nieces and nephews.

My boys sleep in some pretty strange positions but they sure look pretty dang cute.

Zac having some good times in Eli's Batman tent.

I went to go put Eli to bed and this is the only way that I could get him to finally fall asleep. He was upside down, wedged between our two mattresses and wanted nothing to do with having a blanket on. He sure looked super cute though. He was just being stubborn.

Amy holding Ethan. One of Eli's favorite cousins. As you can see, Ethan is following close in his footsteps, look at how hard he is staring up at her.

Ashlee, Michelle, and Nick. They just got engaged and they are getting married the end of July. They are so cute together. I know they will be so happy.

Eli playing his first game of Red Rover. I would band this game from ever being played if I could. I hate it. Oh to often do kids get close lined and thrown back yards. I hated it when I was younger, and things still have not changed.

Eli's first trip to the Dentist

We took Eli to the dentist the other day for the first time. I was so worried that he was going to do horrible at this. Because he really really hates the doctor, even when they aren't doing anything to him. But he did surprisingly very well. I was very proud of him. I was getting my teeth cleaned first, so they just had him lay down on my belly to help him feel more comfortable. It definitely helped that Jill ( my stepsister, and Eli's aunt), was the dental hygienist that worked on him first and cleaned his teeth. She was so good to tell him what the instruments did, and what she was doing in his mouth. She was really good with him, so then by the time the dentist came in to see him, he was all ready to just lay there and let the dentist look at his teeth. So Eli had his first dentist appointment at 2 years 6 months old. And you will be glad to all know that he has all his teeth and they are healthy and pretty clean. Just need to work a little harder on flossing. Do you know how hard it is to floss a two year olds teeth?

Memorial Weekend

We had a very eventful memorial weekend. I will just explain through the pictures. Friday we had a party at hour house with Matt's Family. Sunday we had a barbaque out to Matt's Grandma's house in Bountiful. And then on Monday we spent the day in Logan. SOOOOOO much fun, the whole weekend with family and friends.

Mommy and her little man. Sure do love you.

Daddy and his Little little man. We went to the Willow Park Zoo in Logan. Ethan didn't really care so much, but Eli was loving life. I have to say, it isn't so bad for being a free zoo to visit.

We went with Gaye, Heather, Randall, and Korbin. It was so much fun to spend some time with them. And Eli and Korbin get along so well that it was fun to have a little buddy for him to hang out with.

I love this cute little face.

Eli was trying so hard to be brave and let the ducks eat right out of his hands, but holding on to my wrist was about the closest that he dared to get.

He did eventually warm up to the idea a little, but I was actually forcefully holding his hand a little to help him see how much i DIDN"T hurt, because he was quit sure that it was going to hurt.

This is pretty much what he did most of the day. Slept in the stroller, but looked oooo so cute doing it.

Eli feeding the ducks.

I have decided that these have to be some of the most beautiful birds in the world.

I love these two little boys. They are so funny together.

I absolutely love this picture. They look so cute together.

While in Logan, we went to Matt's Grandpa's clubhouse swimming pool. I don't know where my little boy went, but Eli just all of a sudden decided he was ready to swim by himself. Last time we took him, (Which was only like a week or so ago), he would not let go of our fingers for nothing. This time, he just wanted Daddy to let him go. He wanted to do it all by himself.

This is Gaye's Dad, Great Grandpa Cottle to Ethan.

This is Gaye's Step-mom, Ethan's Great Grandma June.

So yes, we did put Ethan in the water for all of 10 minutes, if even that. We wanted to see if he would like it or not. He did actually really like it after he got over the initial shock. So we just had to snap a family picture.

This is Eli showing off his new swimming skills. He was just loving life kicking his feet and floating all on his own. I think he will be swimming for real sooner then I am ready for.

And yet, he still loves his baby floater. He just kicks back and relaxes.
