This is Lara in here Halloween costume. I don't know where she came up with Pippi Longstocking, but it sure did turn out cute. Last night she went to her Halloween dance and she had so much fun. The first picture is a picture of her and her friend Ashlee. The other pictures are just of Lara showing off her cute costume. Don't forget to check out Mr. Nelsen, Pippi's best monkey friend.

It's Pumpkin Carving Time

So I have to give a preface to all these pictures, We got a little out of hand carving pumpkins at Grandma Gayes house. It was a blast though, but I have to admit, if you have a weak stomach, you may not want to continue looking at these pictures.

Grandma thought it would be fun to give Eli Lara's carmel apple. He had great fun with it, but the aftermath of this fun treat, well...... you'll see.

Drew and Matt carving their pumpkins.

Jay trying to look evil..... but failing oh so miserably.

Heather Noelle carving her pumpkin.

Lara concentrating so hard on the face of her pumpkin.

My handsome Hubby working on his pumpkin.

Lara carving her pumpkin.

Here is were the pictures start to get graphic, so don't keep reading if you have a weak stomach. So I warned you all at the beginning that the aftermath of that Carmel apple was pretty messy. Just look at that face. He had it everywhere, but her sure did enjoy it.

Squash anyone!!! I have been looking at other peoples blogs and I see other little kids about Eli's age being so dainty and careful, and I have even read a few that said they thought it was gross, but Eli didn't really seem to have that problem. He thought it was about the coolest thing in the world to stick his hand in there and rip out the guts of the pumkin.

Eli is all boy as you can planly see in this picture. He was having a blast.

My little pumpkin boy.

Sarah working on her pumpkin.

Justin and Jen working on their pumpkins.

Lara's finished product.

Drew's, Justins, and Lara's finished products.

John sitting next to his daddy's pumpkin. He is such a handsome boy.

Heather and Matt's finished products.

The same ones as before, but all lite up this time.

Fun in the Fall Leaves.....

The other night our really really good friends asked us if we could come over and tend their kids for a few hours. Well, fall is a great time of the year for all the fun that we can have with the leaves so of course we took advantage of that little fact. They had a whole back yard full of leaves and we had so much fun playing in them. Eli really enjoyed them as long as nobody knocked him down or made him tip over in them. There are lots of pictures. Hope you all enjoy.

Eli is not quite sure what to think about this many leaves.

So this picture is quite funny for a few reasons. First, because we had stuffed Eli's shirt clear full of leaves and he wasn't loving it too much. But the funniest thing is that the way the picture is taken, the "go" word bubble on Matt's shirt is just in the perfect position to make it look like Eli is saying go.

Just a few pics of Eli in the leaves.

This is Karter Boy. I'm not exactly sure what he was doing in this picture.

"Save me Mommy!!!!"

We put all the leaves up on the trampoline and then jumped in them. This was almost more fun then having them on the ground.

I Love American Fork Canyon!!!

Sorry ahead of time for all the pictures. But I am just really a picture person and I really enjoy looking at other peoples pictures on their blogs so I hope that you all enjoy looking at mine. I have noticed lately that there has been a lot of trips up the canyons and nature drives and such. Well here is one more. I think it is just that time of year. It is starting to cool down, and the leaves are changing colors, and it is all just so beautiful. I love this time of year. Well, we were bored on Sunday afternoon so we decided to take a drive up to Tibblefork Resivor and on the way we stopped at a few different places and took some really cute fall pictures. Hope you all enjoy. I sure thought there were some cute ones.

Look how big my little boy is getting

No.... I'm really not this crazy.....

This is one of my new favorite pictures of my two handsome boys. They look so happy in this picture.

Eli just being his handsome self

A really cute close up

What kind of face is that?

He looks so cute in this picture.

He was being so photogenic this trip up the canyon. No matter where we set him, he would just sit and smile so cute for us.

Not sure what he was doing in this picture

Lara posing on the log for us

Lara and I. I love you little sis.

Eli and his daddy!!!!

Eli finally got some teeth!!!

Okay, okay so getting teeth really shouldn't be that big of a deal, but he is almost a year and we have been waiting forever for them. He got all four at the same time. They broke through a little more then a week ago but they are just now out far enough that I can catch a decent picture of them. Don't get me wrong, it has been great that he hasn't had them because I am nursing him and it has been great without them. I sure am going to miss his little toothless grin though, but I have to admit, the teeth make his grin all that much more cute. So I thought I would share my handsome little boy grinning and bearing his pearly whites.

The Scarecrow Festival

This past weekend we went the scarecrow festival at Thanksgiving Point. We had so much fun at this family outing. We originally went to watch Matt's little sister Heather dance, but once we got there, there was so many fun things to do.

This is Lara playing on all the different bounce house slides. She was having so much fun. She even convinced Taylor to go down the slides with her and they crashed at the bottom of this last one. They were laughing so hard. And not even going to lie, it was great entertainment on the spectators side as well. Matt and I were both rolling.

Eli and Mommy!!!

Grandma wanted to take Eli on the train. He liked it a lot. We didn't want to wait for another train to come around so we just squeezed into one train. So that is why we look so crowded. It was fun all the same though.

These are just some random pictures of Eli playing in the Toddler Town that they had at the festival. It was a great little area that was perfect for Eli's size.

All in all we had a great day at the festival. It was a great outing and a whole day of fun.
