We had the best 4th of July weekend. We spent it in Delta, of course. This holiday is one that Delta does very well. So of course, once again, our pictures are backwards and a bit out of order, but I will explain as we go.
The first few pictures are of Eli cleaning his fish. At the park they have a big tank set up with some fish in it that the kids can get into by age group and catch a fish with their hands. Eli was a little scared at first, but he definitely did warm up to the idea, then he thought it was awesome.
Daddy helping him clean out his fish so we could eat it.
All of this kids showing off their catch. As you can see, by this point, Eli had still not quite warmed up to the idea of touching his fish, but Haley was nice enough to hold it up for him why he pointed to it.
The next few pictures are of Eli playing on the waterfall in the city park. He thought this was super fun.
Eli lugging his fish around in his bag.
This is Eli catching the fish in his tank. He was sooooo not sure what to think about this. Arn't you suppose to catch fish with a fishing poll? This is what he was thinking.
He was sooo getting squished between these two bigger boys.
What a cheesy smile. I love it.
Eli showing of his catch.
Daddy and Ethan catching candy at the Parade.
All of my boys. I sure love these guys so so so so so much. They make my life so amazingly perfect and I am the luckiest Mommy/Wife in the world.
Eli and his best buddy Elise. He always wants to be her little shadow and he always wants to go to Delta just so he can see her.
All the grand kids waiting for the parade to start.
Ethan enjoying his Otter Pop.
We made cream for a fruit pizza later on the day of the fourth and Ethan was lucky enough to get to clean the beaters. He was loving life.
The kids decorating their bikes and strollers in our case, for the kiddy parade.
The night before in the park there was some free bounce houses and games for the kids, this is Ethan trying to make a basket. Isn't it the cutest thing? He was trying so hard to be a big kid.
Ethan, at the end of the night trying to get his own pj's on. He was being so funny. I don't know if it was because of how tired he was or what, but he was being such a ham.
