Fun night in Oak City!!!

One of my favorite things about my little old home town of Delta was that Oak City was just a hop skip and jump away. I use to love driving up there just to hang out. Oak City you see is a little canyon not to far away from Delta. I spent many nights up there. Well, for Janis's Birthday, as well as just looking for something fun to do, the family decided to drive up for a dutch oven dinner. Here are some of the nights adventures.

First we had to stop at the sand dunes on the way, because of course all the kids wanted to roll down the hills. Lara wasn't to keen on that idea. But I did think this was a super cute picture of her.

Rock climbing..... well atleast Eli's level of rock climbing.

Waiting for there turn at a swing at the pinnata.

Ethan just being his cute little self.

Love his little face.

Daddy and his littlest boy.

Daddy and both his boys. Just relaxing in the chairs waiting for dinner.

I love it when little kids try to eat watermelon. It is a whole messy face ordeal, but definitely one of my favorite pictures. Eli loves watermelon. I think he would eat 10 pieces if I would let him.

The kids standing by the creek where they built a very cool dam out of logs so that they could play in slightly deeper water. It was all good fun until Grandma Caren fell in. And even then it was great fun, she was just a little bit cold for a bit until we got a fire started.
