Hogle Zoo

About a month ago we went to Hogle Zoo with our good friends Sarah and her little boy John. Eli loves John are really good friends and we are lucky to have their whole family in our lives. So anyways, back to our adventures of the day, we had so much fun. Although I have to say, compared to the Woodland Park Zoo ( in Seattle.... watch for future posts), Hogle Zoo is a very disappointing zoo. But I have read that they are making it much bigger and adding lots more to it. So give it a year or so, I think it is going to get much better. Well anyway, here are a few pictures of the day. Eli really loves animals, no matter what kind of animals they are, whether they be farm, zoo or circus, he just really loves animals.

Eli sitting on the baby lion. Last time we went, he wanted nothing to do with this statue. He would only sit on it if Uncle Justin was sitting on there with him. But this time we took him, he was all over it. His fear has vanished I guess. He is just growing up so fast. Any one have any secrets to make them stop growing?

Ethan lounging in the stroller, just loving life. He really enjoys being outside. He is always so calm, whether he is in the stroller or laying on a blanket on the grass. I really just think he likes it outside. He is always such a good baby when we are out an about.

Eli riding another Carousel. I think we have about 10 pictures of him riding on these things. I'm not sure what is so fascinating about them, but to a two year old, they are the best thing in the world. He always wants to ride them when he sees them and he loves them so much.

Eli loves the giraffes. I think they are one of his favorite animals. We were in a really big hurry by the time we got to them, so the picture is kind of from a distance, but I still think it is a really cute picture with them in the back ground.

Again, he USE to be so afraid of the statues, but this time he loved all of them. And he also wanted pictures on all of them. He just climbed right up there and asked me to take a picture of him. Of course I could not resist that request.

Eli and John with the Elephant in the background.

Eli sitting at the entry way to the zoo. He looks like he is in such deep thought in this picture. I wonder what is going on in this little boys head in this picture. So Serious!!!
