We went to Yellowstone last week with some of our very best friends. It was so much fun. This picture... I know... nothing fancy, but I have to explain the incredible cute story that goes along with it. So the first time that he saw a really big buffalo, literally right outside the window, he was hooked. He would just keep saying "more, more, more" and this is the position that he would go to, making sure that he had a great view out the window. I loved it. Just to warn you ahead of time, there is a serious picture overload on this post, but it is because it covers our entire Yellowstone vacation. It won't hurt my feelings if you want to skip this one, but I have to warn you... if you do, you will miss seeing some pretty dang cute pictures..... for example.... THIS ONE (see below)
Is it legal for kids to really be this cute...... How were Matt and I ever so lucky?
This is John and Eli. Seriously, I think I must have took about a thousand pictures of these two and very, very seldom, can I actually catch them both looking at me.
This is all of us, except for Matt. He is the one taking the picture. John is on Drew's shoulders, Then next to them is Drew's wife Sarah, and then there is Eli and I.
This is just a really good picture of one of the many, many, many buffalo that we saw along our way. This is what Eli thought was so cool because they were so close to the car and they were so big.
How would you like to wake up and have this running through your backyard?
Eli was so tuckered out. He played so hard and was so dirty, but I seriously thought this was about the cutest picture in the world. He was so done, he couldn't even hold himself up.
This is the Gardiner Gate, sometimes refereed to as the Roosevelt Arch. It is the entrance of North Yellowstone. Roosevelt was in office when it was finished and he dedicated it.
My biggest camper boy showing off his muscles
The whole family, (minus Lara), we sure did miss her this trip, but she chose to go to Delta instead of going with us.
The 411 on the Arch
I know that these last two pictures don't really show much. And they are kind of small, but it because we were kind of far away. But what you are looking at was actually one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. There had to be 15 of them down in the water, and a few of them scattered on the land. They are Elk, and they were beautiful.
The last few pictures were just some of the many amazing sites that we saw throughout the Park. Pictures just don't do justice for this Park, but I did try to get a few good ones.
Eli and John
These last few pictures are just some of my most adorable son being cuter then ever. I just love him. He is so stinkin cute.
The ever great....."OLD FAITHFUL"
Eli and His Daddy
He was so fascinated with the geysers. I think he would have sat there all day and watched them if I would let him.
Please don't call the CPA on us..... we just couldn't resist. But I have to tell you, Eli was not impressed.
Again.... just couldn't resist. He will forgive us one day, I hope.
This was one of my favorites. It was called Turquoise Lake. I thought it was a very fitting name. It was just so beautiful.

Great pics.
But go back and look at the one of Matt holding Eli upside down...look over Matt's right shoulder. Their faces are priceless! ;)
