Ethan's First Hair Cut

So I really haven't figured out why my pictures always post backwards. I really wanted the long crazy hair to be first and the cute short handsome hair cut to be towards the bottom, but nope, it didn't work out that way. This little mans hair was out of control. It was many different lengths and a little crazy, but he looked soooo handsome after we cut it. He was 15 months old and was so good. Eli has never really loved it when I cut his hair. He would prefer to have it cut by someone else, but Ethan did awesome.
So scroll to the bottom to see the before, it was scary.

Look how handsome he looks after it was cut.

And this is the before. Scary... right? Still the cutest boy in the world, but really, who is this kids mother? What mom would let there little boy go out with hair like that?

Ode to the Bottle

I love the sweet innocents of a child. I wish that people could hold on to that a little more in life. We were out to grandmas house a while back and Ethan tracked down a little bottle that he fell in love with. He played with this little bottle for at least thirty minutes. He was so fascinated with it and it was so entertaining to watched. I loved it. He was so cute and content with it.

Prepare to SMILE,....

Need I say anymore. These pictures just make me smile SOOOOOOO much. He is about the cutest kid in the world. Grandma Gaye has a Shrek doll and Justin thinks it is about the funniest thing in the world to dress him up in it. But I have to admit, he looks pretty dang handsome in this little outfit that sooo does not fit him. Enjoy the smiles.

Happy Birthday to Me!!!

My day was so much fun and it ended up in the canyon, also one of my most favorite places in the world. I just love being outside and my boys have definitely followed suit. They also love being outside.

Fun at the ZOO

We have been to the zoo so many times this summer but he loves it there. The first picture is of Eli petting a little rabbit. At first he was kind of scared, but he did toughen up a little.

Eli and Lara standing by a hawk. Lara thought it was the prettiest bird and she was so excited to get a picture with him. Hawks are amazing, they have the biggest eyes and they are so beautiful.
All of the group standing in front of the bald eagle. Another extremely beautiful bird. We donated a little money to the zoo so we got a picture with this magnificent bird.
Lara getting up the nerve to touch the snack. Eli actually had an easier time touching the snake then he did touching the rabbit. Tell me how this makes any sense?

Eli takes Swim Lessons

This cute little boy took swimming lessons awhile back and can i just tell you.... it did wonders for him. He absolutely loved it and he learned so many things. He is confident, he goes under water and holds his breath, he will jump off the wall all by his own, he is kicking and well, he is just doing so great.

Go REAL

Sorry for the abundance of pictures on this post, but there was just so many fun things that we did and so many of the pictures turned out soooo cool, I had to share them. And my blog helps me when I am doing the scrap booking, so I have to put the pictures that I would put in the books, on the blog. Just enjoy.

So a while back we went to a REAL soccer game. Yes we have been to a few. But this was one was exceptionally fun. It was the XANGO Summer party and there was dinner before and some games for the kids. Eli had a blast.

Mom and Eli. I actually really like this picture. Thats a first.

Daddy and Ethan.
Justin and Ethan. Ethan's second favorite man, next to daddy or course.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture. I jut like how it turned out, but there a few others similar to it that I really quite like as well.

Ethan showing his team pride.... sort of
There we go....
Eli and the sign that he and I created to support our team. Don't ask why the robot, that is just what he wanted.
Justin and his favorite boys.
OOOOO, I love his cheeks.
You like the hat? I thought it was an ingenious thing to do with a bucket.

Eli loved having his face painted and although there were many cool pictures that he could have had, this was what he wanted on his cheek. GO REAL SOCCER!!!

Thank you XANGO for such a fun party. This was our last party with XANGO, but on to bigger and better things. Matt absolutely loves his new job and is learning many new things and loving all the opportunities he is having along the way.
