So on each of the California Day posts I noticed that each of my pictures loaded backwards. So when looking at them, the ones at the bottom of the post were actually the things that we did at the beginning of the day, but im not patient enough to go reverse them, so you will just see our days backwards.
Can I just tell everyone out there how much I LOVE DISNEYLAND? Seriously love it, you are just happy when you are there. Matt and I went to Disneyland on our honeymoon exactly 5 years to the weekend ago that we took our little boys this year. 5 of the moat amazing years, hopefully many more to come. Matt and I both honestly love Disneyland, my husband a little more then I, but still it is definitely a love of ours. Going there for our honeymoon was sooooooo much fun, but taking your kids with you for their first time........ WAY BETTER!!!! Our boys were amazing, the trip was amazing, the fun we had..... I don't even know what else to say. It was the funnest vacation and I am already wishing that we could just go back.
Day 1: We had been driving all night and yes we totally did this on purpose. This is the only way that I will do long trips with little kids. It was so nice, they slept basically the entire way. The boys woke up at about 8 and we were only about thirty minutes away from this fun little restaurant sort of near the calico ghost town. So we stopped for breakfast. In the back of this dinner there was this little mini dinosaur park. Yes they were just metal statues and it really wasn't that big, but it was free, it let us stretch our legs, and Eli thought it was pretty great.
One of the biggest statues. The boys look so small compared to this giant. I can't even imagine having creatures this big wondering around the earth, and this statue doesn't even really do its size justice. WOW.... crazy thought.
This was the sign to the entry way of the park. And yes we are all looking our finest. Remember we had been driving all night and we were just catching some breakfast really quick.
This was the funnest little 50's dinner. Good music, Good service, lots of fun things to look at. Just a really fun environment.
We really didn't do much the first day we got there. We tried to go to Venice Beach but the lovely weather had a different opinion and it started raining on us, so we went back to Tiffany and Lisa's (My amazing sisters that let us crash with them why we there) Thanks again you to. We sure had a really fun time. We went to lunch with Tiffany and this really good little Italian place that she recommended. Then we mostly just hung out at there place, relaxed and went to bed early.
