Today we went to Seahurst Park with the Dillions. It was a very cool place. It was basically just another rocky beach, but there was so much different sea life for us to find. Eli loved finding the crabs and the jelly fish. I think everyone enjoyed finding the jellyfish, as you will see from the pictures, we found lots of them.
Heather and Eli walking along the beach.
A hugs smashed jellyfish that we found on the rocks. I just thought the colors on it were very cool looking.
Doesn't this rock look like a perfect heart?
These are some of my favorite pictures. The action shots of Eli running up and down the beach. We have a lot of them, but they are all so cute. He was loving it here, and he basically loved ever beach that we went to.
Eli showing off his treasures. A little clam shell, but he thought it was "So cool mom."
Danna holding one of the many many jellyfish we found along the shore. Eli never did get up the nerve to touch one of these, but he sure found lots of them and pointed them out to me.
Another Jelly. I'm not sure who is holding this one.
One of the many crabs that were scurrying along the beach.
Eli and some of his new best friends playing on the beach. Malcom and Dana. He sure had so much fun with these guys.
Cool picture huh?
Eli digging in his water hole. He had just as much fun getting dirty and digging holes in the sand as he did doing anything else. We could have spent a whole day just playing in the sand and he would have been so okay with it.
Eli and Malcom working on something in the sand.
This picture is so precious. I'm not actually sure why he has his shoes off because the rocks on the beach actually really hurt your feet, but I just think it is the cutest thing ever that he is carrying them like that. Its just a really cute picture.
Same with this one. He just looks like he is in such deep thought and really concentrating on something.
This is Laurel. She is another one of the Dillion children ( Matt's cousins that we stayed with). This girl is amazing. She is wise beyond her years and super super good with kids. Eli loved her right from the beginning. She is so smart and more mature then a lot of twelve year olds. She was really fun to hang out with, and we actually had an opportunity to hang out with just her one afternoon and it was very very fun. As I said before, she is very smart, she went with us to the Salt Water State park and she was teaching us lots of things about the sea life that we found there. Things I definitely didn't know.
Cute little Ethan, again watching from the sidelines in his stroller. He was still just really small to be out in the sun that long in a blanket and besides, I secretly thing he enjoyed all the great naps he got out in the fresh air.
Such a cute picture of my little Cheetos monkey.
Malcom (one of the Dillion kiddos)
Danna-Do that is what we called her. She is so cute. A little girl with her own unique personality. I loved watching her.
Laurel showing off a very large Jellyfish that we found. There were hundreds of them I tell you.
A not very photogenic family, taking a family photo. Well three of us are pretty photogenic. Can you guess what three?
Here is just the four of us. Isn't Eli and Ethan just the cutest?
I don't think Matt new that Missy took this shot.
We are not very photogenic, but we have to get couple shots when we can. Just so we do have them.
Eli the little explorer. Did I mention how much fun her had just exploring and playing on the beach. I loved just watching him get so excited over finding little silly treasures. Things as simple as rocks and clam shells. He loved it.
Another of Missy's great angle shots. She got so many super cute ones of Eli just being natural and playing around. I love all of them.
This is Preston. He is the son of another of Matt's cousins Sheila. We went to there house for dinner one night why we were out there, and they also came and did a few of our activities with us. Preston is a pretty cute little six year old. He and Eli played really well together when we were over to his house. Honestly, like I said in the very beginning of all of the Seattle posts. I can't believe how much Eli opened up on this trip. He just loved everybody and played so well with all of them.
This is a Sea Urchin. Aren't they cool looking?
Mommy and Ethan giving Eskimo Kisses.
Missy and Laurel walking the beach. She really is such a great mom to these kids and they all adore her.
Ethan during one of his many naps. Still the most handsomest little 2 month old ever.
Heather and Ethan.
A closer shot of that cute little boy. Once again sleeping, but this time not in the stroller......lucky him.
Dana and Eli back at the house playing. Aubree was pulling them around in this wagon. They were having so much fun.
