So I am finally going to get around to posting all of the blogs about Seattle. There are so many to come because we were there for ten days, but we had SO SO SO SO SO much fun. And we did so many amazing things. The first day, we had all the ambition in the world to go hiking to two of the bigger waterfalls around the area, but considering the fact that we rolled in at about 10 that morning, we were all just a LITTLE bit tired. So, since we were so extremely not ambitious enough to go hiking, we went to this fun little place called LAKE WILDERNESS. It had a really fun little beach to play on. Eli was, of course, in seventh heaven. Sand, water, fun friends, and seagulls, what more could a little boy want?
Ethan even enjoyed it for the most part. We just laid him down underneath an umbrella and he just enjoyed being outside.
Look how big he is getting? I still can't believe he is almost 3 months old. Where does the time go? I swear he was just born yesterday.
This is his little lean to that we had set up to keep him out of the sun.
The first of many pictures of Eli just loving the water and sand of Seattle. I do believe that we could have gone to a beach and spent the entire day there and Eli would have been just peachy king. He was so cute. He would look for different treasures and throw rocks, and build sand castles.
Thanks Missy for taking this cool picture of my cute little boy. He looks so serious, but still so so cute.
Another one of my new favorites that Missy took. She definitely has an eye for pictures. A lot of my favorite pictures from this trip are ones that Missy caught.
This is one of Eli's new favorite friends. He name is Dana and she is four. Something about Eli that was so interesting to me on this trip. He is one of the shyest little boys I know. He will hardly go anywhere without me or at least knowing that I am close at hand. Well we get to Seattle and not even 2 minutes being there, Dana takes his hand and says "let's go play upstairs in my room." He didn't even hesitate. I don't know where my little boy went on this trip, but his bravery level multiplied by ten. He absolutely loved Missy's whole family and he had so much fun getting to know some new cousins. Laurel is still talked about pretty regularly. He asks were she is or when we go to her house again. I will talk a little more about her when I get to a picture of her.
This is Aubrey-Do. Not sure why we started calling her that, but it kinda stuck. Heather called her that once, and that is what she was the remainder of the trip. This little girl has some spunk and she is so stinkin cute. Again, Eli took straight to her and they became good friends really fast.
He looks way older then two to me in this picture. Where did my little boy go? Can I please have him back for a little while?
