We had a very eventful memorial weekend. I will just explain through the pictures. Friday we had a party at hour house with Matt's Family. Sunday we had a barbaque out to Matt's Grandma's house in Bountiful. And then on Monday we spent the day in Logan. SOOOOOO much fun, the whole weekend with family and friends.
Mommy and her little man. Sure do love you.
Daddy and his Little little man. We went to the Willow Park Zoo in Logan. Ethan didn't really care so much, but Eli was loving life. I have to say, it isn't so bad for being a free zoo to visit.
We went with Gaye, Heather, Randall, and Korbin. It was so much fun to spend some time with them. And Eli and Korbin get along so well that it was fun to have a little buddy for him to hang out with.
I love this cute little face.
Eli was trying so hard to be brave and let the ducks eat right out of his hands, but holding on to my wrist was about the closest that he dared to get.
He did eventually warm up to the idea a little, but I was actually forcefully holding his hand a little to help him see how much i DIDN"T hurt, because he was quit sure that it was going to hurt.
This is pretty much what he did most of the day. Slept in the stroller, but looked oooo so cute doing it.
Eli feeding the ducks.
I have decided that these have to be some of the most beautiful birds in the world.
I love these two little boys. They are so funny together.
I absolutely love this picture. They look so cute together.
While in Logan, we went to Matt's Grandpa's clubhouse swimming pool. I don't know where my little boy went, but Eli just all of a sudden decided he was ready to swim by himself. Last time we took him, (Which was only like a week or so ago), he would not let go of our fingers for nothing. This time, he just wanted Daddy to let him go. He wanted to do it all by himself.
This is Gaye's Dad, Great Grandpa Cottle to Ethan.
This is Gaye's Step-mom, Ethan's Great Grandma June.
So yes, we did put Ethan in the water for all of 10 minutes, if even that. We wanted to see if he would like it or not. He did actually really like it after he got over the initial shock. So we just had to snap a family picture.
This is Eli showing off his new swimming skills. He was just loving life kicking his feet and floating all on his own. I think he will be swimming for real sooner then I am ready for.
And yet, he still loves his baby floater. He just kicks back and relaxes.
