Update on the Puppies...

First things first.... they are so big. Puppies, just like children, grow way to fast. I swear each day that I get down to play with the puppies they become a little more adventurous, a lot more playful, and much more energetic. They are so much fun to play with. Two of them have been sold, but the other two are still up for grabs. We will probably be giving them to their new owners sometime this week. I'm not going to lie, it is going to be really hard for me to part with them. But I knew this day would come. They are going to good families so that helps me to feel a little bit better. They are not entirely eating puppy food yet. We still have to soften it with water, but they do pretty good when it is moistened.

So let me introduce you to our puppies. This is Twig. He is a dark brown color and looks just like his daddy. We named him Twig because he has always been the smallest. He was born an hour and a half after his brothers and sisters and we weren't sure at the time that he was going to make it. He wasn't breathing all that great and it took a little extra love for Lilly (the mommy) to get him breathing. Twig is small, but he has just as much fight and vigor as all the rest. And you can't help but fall in love with him the first time you meet him.

This is Princess. She fits her name perfectly. She is our little princess. She is a light brown color and a beautiful puppy. She was named Princess because she is the only girl in a litter of four. Of all of the puppies, she is the one that I personally am thinking of keeping because she is just so stinkin cute. When ever I am playing with the other puppies, she will come up and cuddle on my lap. She is very playful and loves attention.

This is Pockets. He is our fighter... well sort of. He is very playful and loves all attention. He gets riled up very easily and enjoys a good game of tug-o-war. The reason he is named pockets is because last year we had a litter from our other puppy and one of the puppies passed away when they were about 2 weeks old. We named this one pockets in remembrance of the one that passed away. Pockets is also known as our little bully because sometimes he likes to butt his way into the food or steal toys away from his siblings. He is very cute and has a fun personality, he just has a little more fight then the others.

This is Obie. He is well...... the spitting image of his mother. He has the same markings on his face and has a very similar color pattern. He is very cute. Obie was the first born of the litter. He was named after Obie one from Star wars. Were not totally positive why we chose this, but it definitely fits him well. He is very curious. He often gets lost because he goes exploring away from the rest of the litter. He is very playful and has plenty of energy to spare.
