Wee- Witches Weekend

There really isn't a whole lot to say about this post. We went to Gardner Village the first weekend in October because it was Wee-Witches weekend and they had everything set up to be accommodating and geared up for toddlers. Eli had so much fun. They had a maze set up with hay bails so it was just Eli's size. And he loved the animals in the petting zoo a lot. He has a serious love for animals, but I'm sure most kids his age feel the same way. Eli was a little bit scared of some of the ladies that were dressed up as witches, but he warmed up to a few of them.

Let the Holidays Begin!!!

Lara really wanted to paint a pumpkin and since our front porch was looking kind of bare, I was all over it. So we went and got a couple small pumpkins and had a fun activity of painting our small pumpkins.

I Just Love Him

Nothing really significant about this picture. I just thought I would share it with everybody because he looks so grownup in this picture and so handsome.

Haley and Eli

Last weekend we went Pine Nut hunting with my sister and her family. Thanks again for such a great weekend. It was very fun. Well I did take a few pictures but none of them were all that cute and they were a bit blurry, but I thought that these three of Haley and Eli were so cute. He sure does love those three little girls.

Utah State Fair

Are these about the coolest animals in the world. I think they are fascinating. We went to the State Fair a week or so ago with Grandma Gaye. Eli was loving all the animals and he was so fascinated with this show. It was called the Kachunga Alligator Show and it was very entertaining.

This was the brothers that were the trainers of this fine animal. He did some of the craziest things with this little guy. He wrestles him and carried him around and held his mouth shut with his chin. He was crazy.

A very cute picture of Eli and Grandma Gaye

After the show they gave people the opportunity to take a picture with a baby alligator. I wasn't so sure how that was going to go over because Lara is a wimp and Eli is really brave until he actually gets to close to something then he usually freaks out. But not this time. Both of them were so excited to get to hold an alligator. Eli thought it was about the coolest thing ever and I don't think he was scared at all. I know in the picture it looks like he is, but I don't really think he was. I think Grandma just caught a funny face of him.

Notice the great big owl that is in the upper right hand corner of this picture. I have never seen an owl this close. they are beautiful animals. We got the opportunity to take a picture with one, and I was all over that, but because of that poster in the background, it makes it kind of hard to see the owl very well.

Happy Birthday Grandpa Doug!!!

Just wanted to give a shout out to Grandpa Doug. Today was his birthday and although we are to far away to celebrate with you. Just want to let you know we were thinking about you and wish you the best. Love you guys!!!

Yellowstone...... so beautiful!!!!

We went to Yellowstone last week with some of our very best friends. It was so much fun. This picture... I know... nothing fancy, but I have to explain the incredible cute story that goes along with it. So the first time that he saw a really big buffalo, literally right outside the window, he was hooked. He would just keep saying "more, more, more" and this is the position that he would go to, making sure that he had a great view out the window. I loved it. Just to warn you ahead of time, there is a serious picture overload on this post, but it is because it covers our entire Yellowstone vacation. It won't hurt my feelings if you want to skip this one, but I have to warn you... if you do, you will miss seeing some pretty dang cute pictures..... for example.... THIS ONE (see below)

Is it legal for kids to really be this cute...... How were Matt and I ever so lucky?

This is John and Eli. Seriously, I think I must have took about a thousand pictures of these two and very, very seldom, can I actually catch them both looking at me.

This is all of us, except for Matt. He is the one taking the picture. John is on Drew's shoulders, Then next to them is Drew's wife Sarah, and then there is Eli and I.

This is just a really good picture of one of the many, many, many buffalo that we saw along our way. This is what Eli thought was so cool because they were so close to the car and they were so big.

How would you like to wake up and have this running through your backyard?

Eli was so tuckered out. He played so hard and was so dirty, but I seriously thought this was about the cutest picture in the world. He was so done, he couldn't even hold himself up.

This is the Gardiner Gate, sometimes refereed to as the Roosevelt Arch. It is the entrance of North Yellowstone. Roosevelt was in office when it was finished and he dedicated it.

My biggest camper boy showing off his muscles

The whole family, (minus Lara), we sure did miss her this trip, but she chose to go to Delta instead of going with us.

The 411 on the Arch

I know that these last two pictures don't really show much. And they are kind of small, but it because we were kind of far away. But what you are looking at was actually one of the most beautiful sites I have ever seen. There had to be 15 of them down in the water, and a few of them scattered on the land. They are Elk, and they were beautiful.

The last few pictures were just some of the many amazing sites that we saw throughout the Park. Pictures just don't do justice for this Park, but I did try to get a few good ones.

Eli and John

These last few pictures are just some of my most adorable son being cuter then ever. I just love him. He is so stinkin cute.

The ever great....."OLD FAITHFUL"

Eli and His Daddy

He was so fascinated with the geysers. I think he would have sat there all day and watched them if I would let him.

Please don't call the CPA on us..... we just couldn't resist. But I have to tell you, Eli was not impressed.

Again.... just couldn't resist. He will forgive us one day, I hope.

This was one of my favorites. It was called Turquoise Lake. I thought it was a very fitting name. It was just so beautiful.
