Fun in the Sun
We just went for an afternoon drive one day and we ended up at Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon. Nothing really special about these pictures. I just thought that I would post some super cute pictures. Eli sure does love his Aunt Heather. She is so good to him and I can tell she loves this little boy very very much. They just have so much fun together.
Lara Turns 20
So last weekend we celebrated Lara's 20th birthday. Well her friend party at least. She is having one next weekend with the family. SO anyway, this party was so much fun. This young ladies are so funny. We started out the night at Jack and Jill's bowling lanes. Let me tell you.... they all had their own style.
Lara showing off her bowling shoes. She has been wanting to go bowling for so long and she had a such a good time going with his friends.
This is Sherry, one of Lara's friends from school.
This is the whole group of them just having fun bowling.
This is a group shot of them. Sherry, Lara, Danielle, and Courtney. Sherry and Courtney are friends from school and Danielle is a friend from her special needs dance class.
Lara blowing out the candle's on her cake.
This is the whole group eating pizza outside on the patio.
After they ate pizza, then they all sat down in the tent and watched a movie projected on a screen outside. They watched Bolt. These girls had never done anything like this and they thought it was about the coolest thing in the world, to watch a big screen movie outside in the comfort of your own backyard.
Gaye, Randy, Justin, and Chris came down as well to join the party. Eli was being such a cuddle bug. I don't know what his deal was, but he was feeling the love from his Grandma and Uncle Justin. The last picture is one of my favorite's. Such a precious picture.
Happy Birthday Lara!!! Sure do love you!!!!

I can not believe it
Who knew the day would come so soon that Eli... my cute little boy... would get invited to his first girls birthday party. He is not old enough for that yet. But, alas, we attended our first girls birthday party. Her name is Brindalynn and she is one of my good friends from high school's little girl. She is such a cutie. Eli was a bit shy at first as you can tell from some of the pictures. He didn't really know anyone except for Brindalynn, but he got to play on the playground and make some new friends. He had a lot of fun after he warmed up a little to the idea.
I sure to love these two
I believe that I can just never have enough adorable, cute pictures of this kid. So we bought him this Tadpole brand Ipod thing were you can put your Ipod in this rubber case thing so that if they drop it or hit it against something that it doesn't do any damage to your Ipod. It has kid sized headphones and it is a very durable little Ipod setup for kids. And Eli absolutly loves it. I didn't hear from him for about five minutes the other day, so of course I went to go look for him. This is what I found him doing. He was between Lara's dresser and her bed just rocking out to the music. It was seriously one of the cutest things that I have ever caught him doing.
There really isn't to much more I need to say about this picture. But of course I am going to. This is how I found my boys the other day. Eli looks up to his daddy a lot and trys very hard to be a big kid and do everything that his dad is doing. He loves to help him and seriously.... have you ever seen anything cuter then this? I just love them both so much.
Ode to the Box
Who would have ever thought that a simple car seat box could make for such a fun toy. A few weeks back we bought Eli a new car seat and the box.... well let me tell you about this box. At first Matt would just play hide out with Eli in the box, but Eli liked it so much that we thought we would build on his imagination a little bit more. So one night, Lara and I decided to make Eli a Bat Cave. Eli loves Batman and this box was such a great size. So we painted it up all Yellow and Black, and so was born..... ELI'S BATCAVE.
John Turn's Three
Lara got her face painted with her inner animal. How suiting that they picked the butterfly. I thought that she looked really cute. She was so excited when I told her that they were painting faces the day that we were there.
We went to the Zoo with our best friends ever, Drew and Sarah and John. There handsome little boy was turning three. So crazy to think, because I remember when he was born and it does not seem like that long ago. Anyway, Eli loved the zoo. I was worried that he might be afraid of the big animals, but not hardly. He loved them. So here are some pictures to tell you about our way fun day in the sun at the zoo. Thanks for inviting us Drew and Sarah. And Happy Birthday John.
This is Eli Monkey playing with the big water ball at the entrance of the park. Eli thought it was the coolest thing ever.
I know, I know, nobody really cares to see the pictures of the animals, but I gotta tell you, Peacocks are the coolest birds in the world. I have never in my life seen a peacock with his tail completely open. They are beautiful. But it does kind of baffel my mind how they can even carry all those feathers around, they have to be super heavy.
Little stinkers, I swear every time one of them would look at me, the other one would not. I couldn't win. But, they are still the cutest two boys ever.
Justin and Eli posing on the lion statue. Don't they look so cute.
Gaye, Eli and Lara standing in front of the Zebras. It was such a fun day.
Matt, Eli and Gaye watching the black bear. Eli thought they were so cool. The bear kept going in and out of the cave and every time the bear would come out of the cave he would say " oooo oooo oooo" It was about the cutest thing ever.
John was so tuckered out, he slept through part of his birthday party at the zoo.
Eli and Grandma watching the bird show. He followed the bird to the back of the arena thing and then he was waiting for it to fly over his head again.
Priceless pictures.... I can never have enough of them.
Eli and his handsome daddy. I love you two so much!!!!!
Just a really cute picture of John. I'm not even sure what he is doing. I think he was caught off guard.
Again, they would never both look at me a the same time. That would be way to easy..right?
John relaxing on the Elephant's nose.
Say Cheese John.

Eli's new favorite play pen!!!
So Eli has found the dryer. He loves it. I'm not quite sure why he thinks it is so cool, but he plays in there ever chance he gets and every time that I forget to shut it. Usually he just climbs in and out and in and out. But today he went and stole Lara's blanket and dragged that in with him. He laid down and was going to go to sleep in there, it was about the cutest thing I have ever seen.
Here are just a few cute pictures to show off Eli in his new favorite place to play.

A few of my new Favorites
So like I said a few posts ago, our camera has been on the outs for a bit and I have to tell you, I have missed it dearly, so I am making up for lost time.
This is just a picture I took of Eli in his car seat. I just think he looks so cute and innocent in this picture.... it is very deceiving....LOL.
We were out house hunting the other day and this umbrella was sitting on the porch of one of the houses we went to look at. It was a Batman umbrella, we thought it had to be fate, but regardless of all that. Eli thought it was the coolest thing ever. I guess we need to see if we can find him one.

And here are Eli's.......
Eli was pretty corroborative up the canyon. I do believe that Lara was feeling it a little bit more then Eli was, but we still got quite a few pretty cute ones of both of them.
This is one of my favorites. I think I am going to replace the one in my living room with this picture.
This one is pretty cute as well too... but then again.. it is Eli, they are all pretty dang cute.
What is with this face.....It kills me!!
He is such a cheeser.
