Today is our 3 year anniversary and I just wanted to tell Matt how much I love and appreciate everything that he does for me and our family. I saw this on another blog and thought that is was really cute, so I thought I would do the same on ours. Matt is 26 years old, so I thought I would list 26 reasons why I love him so much.
1- I love how much he loves Eli and I
2- I love how patient he is with Lara
3- I love that he can always find something positive in any situation
4- I love that he loves his family and especially how much he loves his mom
5- I love that he has the priesthood and also that he honors it
6- I love that he is a kid at heart
7- I love that he works really hard at his job and that he takes such good care of his family
8- I love that he totally understands me
9- I love that he is patient with me
10- I love the way that he plays with Eli and strongly encourages Eli to use his imagination
11- I love that he loves to learn about new things and that he enjoys reading
12- I love that he enjoys being outside just as much as I
13- I love that we can be doing anything or nothing at all and still be really ourselves
14- I love that we can both sleep in until 10 and not feel the least bit guilty about it
15- I love that he looks out for us, how he always makes sure the doors are locked at night, even
if I have already fallen asleep and forgot to check. Or the way he always locks the door when he leaves the house if Eli and I are home alone.
16- I love how good of a dad he is to Eli
17- I love how he looks out for his little sister and is an awesome big brother to Justin
18- I love how he makes me laugh
19- I love that he enjoys eating new things and is not afraid to try something new
20- I love that he has a strong passion for music and that we both really, really enjoy music and this has been one of our favorite past times
21- I love that he is not afraid to just be silly sometimes and can just have fun and not worry about what other people think
22- I love that he is mild tempered and can keep his cool when talking to people (even if they are stupid people)
23- I love that he can always come up with something fun to do, no matter what the situation or what we are doing.... he can make it more fun
24- I love him
25- I love how excited he gets about new things
26- I love how much he loves me and how he is always looking out for me and putting me first, and how I know that he would do anything for Eli and I

You gotta try this!!!
So the other day Matt signed us up for something that I didn't even know existed and I gotta tell you, it was so much fun. And although Eli is.. well... a little young, he had so much fun, as you will soon see in the video. We went Lowes, the hardware store and every other week they have these classes that are free... yep, that's what I said, free. They are little wood shop classes for kids. Well Eli was stoked, they gave him this little hammer and this apron and safety goggles, and then a little wood kit that he can make. This week was a time capsule and he loved hitting it with the hammer. Of course he had to have lots of help from his daddy, but the experience was great all the same. Any of you have little boys, I would highly recommend going and trying this out. This week they are making Table Top Basketball hoops.
Bob That Head!!!
So who has the best husband in the world? I do, I do. It is our 3 year anniversary this Tuesday, but Matt surprised me last week with tickets to Rascal Flatts. I was so exited. Every year they come and every year I say that I am going to go see them, but then something always comes up and I never get to go. So now I can cross it off my "things to do before I die" list.
The pictures are not the greatest, but if any of you have ever been to a concert then you will know that the lighting and stuff make it very hard to get a really good picture. But I got a few that were not to bad.
We went with Matt's family. Randy, Gaye, Heather, and Justin. Never thought that I would be going to a concert with my in-laws, but I am sure glad that I had that opportunity to. We had so much fun and they were such a fun group to see perform.
Jessica Simpson opened for them and can I just say... What were they thinking? They were amazing and she is just....well...not. I;m not going to lie, there are actually a few of her songs that I really enjoy, but watching her sing is so painful. Her facial expressions are enough to make you sick. She is so hard to watch.
So all in all, this was such a fun night and a great way to celebrate our anniversary. Thanks again husband, I sure do love you.
Spring Fever Has Hit!!!
The other day we decided to go out and clean the yard up a little bit while the weather was so beautiful. As you can see, Eli was eating that all up. We had so much fun kicking the ball around. He loves balls and that is his new favorite word to say. When we let the dogs outside Eli is so fast to get to the door. He just always wants to go outside. I just wish it would get just a little bit warmer. Last week I thought there was hope, it was so nice outside most days, but then this week just went really cold. So here are a few pictures of Eli being oh so cute outside playing with one of his balls.
These are my two favorite pictures of him and even though he is not playing with the ball he just looks so dang cute in both pictures. Just being a lazy lounger out on the grass.
